The Challenge

This South Queensferry property had a steeply sloping garden that was difficult to navigate. The existing grass path became muddy and slippery in wet weather, making access to the bottom of the garden impractical.

Our Solution

We designed a sweeping sandstone pathway with integrated timber sleeper steps at key gradient changes. Raised beds alongside the path provide planting opportunities and help retain the soil on the slope.
